My wife Myra and I are thankful to live in a country — despite many of its current struggles and an uncertain future in many respects — that provides an opportunity.
HobbsDailyReport.com is an example of how something can go from an idea to providing a service that hopefully helps many of the student-athletes in our region gain some exposure and perhaps an opportunity to play sports at the next level.
Our website is now four years and three months old and our page views are in excess during that time of 500,000.
This is also a special Fourth for Myra and I… she just recently aced the required six correct answers — getting the first six right — and gained her U.S. citizenship. A very proud moment for her — she is a native of the Philippines — and this is her first Fourth of July as a U.S. citizen.
