The top swimmers in the Northwestern Foothills 2A for this season are both from Burke County.
Conference officials released the all-conference team for girls and boys on Saturday, with Kadira McClure of Patton winning female swimmer of the year and East Burke’s Brett Walker taking home the boys’ award.
Patton edged East Burke for a league title in girls and East Burke’s boys finished ahead of Fred T. Foard in the conference race.
The league’s head coaches voted Kristan Erwin of Patton as Coach of the Year for girls and David Andersen of East Burke won boys’ Coach of the Year.
