High school head coaches in all fall sports in the South Fork 2A, Northwestern Foothills 2A and Northwestern 3A-4A are asked to report results as soon as possible after each event is completed.

Abbey Smith and Sarah Wicker each had 12 kills on Tuesday night, sparking Maiden High’s 3-1 home victory over Alexander Central in volleyball.
Maiden won three straight games – 25-16, 25-15 and 25-10 – after the Cougars won the opening game 25-20.
Faith Herman led the Blue Devils (2-2) with 43 assists while Peyton McRee made three aces and Lauren Xayavong contributed 30 digs and three aces.
Alexander Central dropped to 1-4.
Maiden plays another non-league match on Wednesday, visiting Draughn with a 6 p.m. start, and Alexander Cenral is at home on Thursday at 6 p.m. to face Bunker Hill.
Foard adds match
Fred T. Foard announced Tuesday it has added a varsity-only match to its schedule, playing at home on Oct. 6 against Statesville at 2 p.m.

East Lincoln 5, Fred T. Foard 2
Chase Gilly had three goals and Miller Towson had three assists as the Mustangs (3-0) handed the visiting Tigers (3-1) their first loss of the season.
Ty Knight and Logan Gilley each added a goal for East Lincoln.
The Mustangs play West Iredell at East Lincoln on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Foard next plays on Thursday, at home at 6:30 p.m. against Ledford.

Tristian Rameriz scored twice as the Tigers won on the road.
Carlos Erazo, Carter Holt and Jackson Coffey each added a goal for Foard, and Justin Whalen, Andrew Poe, Holt and Erazo each had an assist for the Tigers.
