HIGH SCHOOL GOLF: Warriors’ Bumgarner named top player in Northwestern 3A-4A

Noah Bumgarner, who led West Caldwell High to second place in Northwestern 3A-4A golf, has been named the conference’s player of the year in voting by league coaches.

Bumgarner was one of three Warriors on the All-Northwestern 3A-4A team when league officials released those honors on Friday.

Andy Bennett of St. Stephens was named conference Coach of the Year after guiding the Indians to a conference title.

The Indians had three all-league players, Trent McLauchlin, Caden Powell and Bryce Hull.
