Notes: St. Stephens’ bench players outscored Alexander Central’s 19-0 … St. Stephens shot 29.6 percent and Alexander Central shot 28 percent, including 18.2 in the opening half … The Indians won the boards 47-34 with Rhodes grabbing 17 (13 on defense) while Nikki Hagy had 13 for the Cougars … Rhodes made five of her 11 field goal attempts and added a team-high four assists … Hagy had four of Alexander Central’s 12 assists and three steals … Alaysha Henry had four steals for the Indians … There were only 20 free throws in the game, eight by the Cougars (2-for-8).
