Maiden’s Amarion Craig (3) gets to Bandys’ Malik Kennedy to make a stop in Friday’s game at Maiden, where the Blue Devils opened a 16-0 lead early and then held off the Trojans 30-23 to hand Bandys its first South Fork 2A loss. Bandys went 7-0 in 2018 to win a league title.


Bandys running back Quenton Maddox breaks away from Maiden defender Dylan Abernethy to gain some of his 43 yards on two carries in Friday night’s game. Maddox scored on a 43-yard run in the third quarter to pull Bandys within 23-16 after a two-point conversion run by Isaiah Gilchrist.
