The top boys’ players in the South Fork 2A and Northwestern 3A-4A have been named first-team All-District 10 by the North Carolina Basketball Coaches Association (NCBCA).
In voting by members of the NCBCA, South Fork 2A Player of the Year Sidney Dollar of East Lincoln and Northwestern 3A-4A Player of the Year Fletcher Abee of Freedom were picked for the five-player first-team.
Dollar and Abee are juniors.
Completing the first team are District 10 Player of the Year Adrian Delph of Kings Mountain, a senior, plus Lincoln Charter senior Kody Shubert and senior Zyrion Wilkins of R-S Central.
The second-team picks include Hickory senior Torey James and Patton senior Tripp Causby and third-team picks include senior Kabian McClendon of East Lincoln, junior Jackson Gabriel of Lincoln Charter and senior Skyler McKinney of McDowell.
Coach of the Year in District 10 went to Greg Wright of R-S Central.
Players whose coaches are not NCBCA members are not eligible for selection.
