Notes: Alexander Central shot 56.8 percent, including 72.2 in the second half and Watauga shot 40.3 … The Cougars outscored the Pioneers 40-26 in the paint and 34-25 in points by bench players … Lowrance hit 10 of his 11 free throws and grabbed 10 rebounds as Alexander Central won the boards 41-25 … Maddox Kerley added nine rebounds for the Cougars, James Benfield had six assists and Zach Wooten made seven of eight free throws and posted six assists … St. Clair hit 11 of 24 field goals, all four of his free throws and four 3-pointers for Watauga … Sears hit four 3-pointers for the Pioneers, as did Castle… Watauga made 12 of 33 attempts on 3-pointers.
