Notes: North Iredell won the boards 45-30 with Barzee and Pennell each grabbing eight while Nikki Hagy’s eight led Alexander Central … Rachel LaLonde had seven of the Red Raiders’ 16 assists and added seven of their 16 steals… There were 47 turnovers in the game, 26 by the Cougars … North Iredell shot 33.3 percent to Alexander Central’s 26.8 (19 percent in the second half) … The Red Raiders made six 3-pointers, five by Walter in nine attempts, and the Cougars were 1-for-14 beyond the arc … Barzee, Walter and Pennell combined to go 16-for-35 shooting for North Iredell … Barzee had six offensive rebounds and Pennell had five … The Red Raiders outscored the Cougars 14-2 on fastbreaks.
