HICKORY – Racing scheduled for Saturday night at Hickory Motor Speedway has been cancelled due to heavy rains.
After reviewing weather predictions for the evening and finding then unfavorable, HMS General Manager Kevin Piercy announced the cancellations.
“This is a tough spot,” Piercy said in a press release. “We do not take these decisions lightly. We have several competitors that are eager to hit the track.”
Piercy said he hopes the weather will improve this week so HMS can get back to racing.
