BIOLOXI, Mississippi — Hayden Deal made his second start of the season on Thursday night for the Mississippi Braves, leaving after 3 1/3 innings of a 7-5 loss at Bioloxi.
Deal, a former Bandys High left-hander who pitched at Presbyterian College, allowed four hits and all four runs he allowed were earned. He walked four and struck out four.

Mississippi is 3-5 heading into another game at Bioloxi on Friday night.
When Deal makes his third start will depend on if the Braves use a five- or six-man rotation.
After playing at Bioloxi through Sunday, the Braves got home for a 12-game homestand that begins Tuesday against Chattanooga (Tenn.). After six games with Chattanooga, Montgomery (Ala.) comes to Mississippi for six games.
