Hayden Deal’s next start for the Double-A Mississippi Braves is scheduled Wednesday night when Montgomery (Ala.,) visits the Braves.
DEAL
Deal, a left-hander who starred at Bandys High and then Presbyterian (S.C.) College before signing a minor league deal with the Atlanta Braves, is 0-2 this season with an ERA of 5.54.
Montgomery comes in 7-11 while Mississippi is 8-11.
The game on Wednesday is the second in the series.
Deal will be making his fourth start of the season.
When Deal makes his fifth start will depend on if the Braves use a five- or six-man rotation.
