Hayden Deal’s next start and his first shot at collecting his 20th pro win will come Sunday for the Mississippi Braves.
The Braves have Deal, a former left-hander at Bandys High, listed as their probable starter for a 2 p.m. game on Sunday that will close a six-game series at Tennessee.
Deal is 2-2 with an ERA of 4.08 after picking up a win on Tuesday night at Tennessee.
He is averaging 8.04 strikeouts per nine innings as a minor leaguer and is 19-15 with 39 career starts (3.11 ERA).
