BIOLOXI, Mississippi — Hayden Deal is scheduled to make his second start of the season for the Double-A Mississippi Braves on Thursday night.
Deal, a former Bandys High left-hander who pitched at Presbyterian College, will face the Bioloxi Shuckers. He is 0-1 this season, his first in Double A for the Atlanta Braves.
Mississippi is off to a 3-4 start.
When Deal makes his third start will depend on if the Braves use a five- or six-man rotation.
