Former Bandys High star Hayden Deal is moving back into the starting rotation for the Double-A Mississippi Braves.
Deal, who has made three straight relief appearances, is listed as the Braves starter in Montgomery (Ala.) on Friday night in Game 2 of a doubleheader.
He is 3-2 this season with an ERA 3.94 with 65 strikeouts in 80 innings This will be his 19th appearance and 16th start of the season.
Mississippi is 55-37 and leads the Double-A South’s South Division over Montgomery by 4 1/2 games.
