GREENSBORO – Hibriten High forward Allison Herrera will play for the West in the annual East-West girls’ high school all-star game in July.
Herrera was the only selection from the South Fork 2A, Northwestern Foothills 2A and Northwestern 3A-4A when the 16-player West roster was released on Wednesday by the North Carolina Coaches Association (NCCA).
The match is scheduled July 17, during East-West Week, at MacPherson Park in Greensboro at 6:30 p.m., followed by a boys’ match.
The matches pit the top seniors of 2017 from the East against the West.
The boys’ roster has not yet been released.
