HICKORY – The Hickory Crawdads weren’t able to get their Sunday game in against West Virginia because of storms in the area.

The South Atlantic League (SAL) baseball game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on June 8, a Friday, with a start time of 5 p.m.

The Crawdads — 1-8 to start their 26th season in Hickory and first under ownership of their parent club, the Texas Rangers – are scheduled to start a series Monday against Lexington (Ky.) at L.P. Frans Stadium.

Game time on Monday is 6 p.m., and the Crawdads are providing free admission to fans who were their pajamas to the game on National Pajama Day.

Lexington will be in town for a three-game series that continues on Tuesday with a 6 p.m. game and concludes with a Wednesday game that starts at 10:30 a.m.
