HUNTER HARVEY (Class AA Bowie, Md.)

Former Bandys High star Hunter Harvey did not pitch Monday in Bowie’s 4-2 home victory over Richmond.

He made his second start of the season on Friday, going 2 1/3 innings against Akron in a game the Baysox eventually won 5-3. He gave up two hits, no runs, walked two and struck out one and he threw 55 pitches (30 for strikes) and faced 11 batters before a home crowd of 3,288.

Harvey is 0-0 with an ERA of 2.08, has given up four hits, one run (earned) with two walks and two strikeouts.

His next start is scheduled to be Wednesday at Bowie in an 11:05 a.m. game against Richmond.

ZACH JARRETT (Class A Delmarva, Md.)

Former Hickory High and Charlotte star Zach Jarrett, an outfielder, went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts on Monday night in Delmarva’s 3-0 home loss to Kannapolis. He is hitting .315 with five home runs and 10 RBIs through 15 games this season.

HAYDEN DEAL (Class A Rome, Ga.)

Former Bandys High star Hayden Deal, a relief pitcher, is a reliever for the Braves, whose Monday game at West Virginia was rained out.

He has pitched five innings and in two games this season with an ERA of 3.60 and one walk versus six strikeouts.
