HUNTER HARVEY (Class AA Bowie, Md.)

Former Bandys High star Hunter Harvey did not pitch Sunday in Bowie’s 9-4 home loss to Akron.

He made his second start of the season on Friday, going 2 1/3 innings against Akron in a game the Baysox eventually won 5-3. He gave up two hits, no runs, walked two and struck out one and he threw 55 pitches (30 for strikes) and faced 11 batters before a home crowd of 3,288.

Harvey is 0-0 with an ERA of 2.08, has given up four hits, one run (earned) with two walks and two strikeouts.

His next start is scheduled to be Wednesday at Bowie in an 11:05 a.m. game against Richmond.

ZACH JARRETT (Class A Delmarva, Md.)

Former Hickory High and Charlotte star Zach Jarrett, an outfielder, was not in the lineup on Sunday in Delmarva’s 2-1 loss to Lakewood, N.J., at Delmarva.

Jarrett is hitting .320 – tied for 15th-best in the South Atlantic League — with five runs and 10 RBIs through 14 games this season.

HAYDEN DEAL (Class A Rome, Ga.)

Former Bandys High star Hayden Deal, a relief pitcher, is a reliever for the Braves, whose Sunday game at home against Augusta (Ga.) was rained out.

He has pitched five innings and in two games this season with an ERA of 3.60 and one walk versus six strikeouts.
