CHAPEL HILL – Former East Lincoln High quarterback Chazz Surratt is among 13 football players at North Carolina who will miss games this season following a secondary NCAA violation of selling school-issued Nike Jordan shoes.

Surratt, a sophomore, is one of nine UNC players whose suspension will be for four games. Since Surratt will miss the first four games – including the opener on Sept. 1 against California – junior Nathan Elliott is expected to be the Tar Heels’ starter.
