JAMESTOWN – Guilford Tech handed the Catawba Valley Community College men a 93-83 road loss on Wednesday night at the Ragsdale Family YMCA.
The Red Hawks, who also lost on Tuesday night, fell to 6-8 overall and 1-4 in Region X. They play Saturday at home at 3 p.m. against Fayetteville Tech in a Region X game.
Freshman forward Isayah Johnson paced CVCC with 16 points and 14 rebounds for his second double-double of the season.
Sophomore guard Myles Williams also scored 16 points for CVCC.
Eric Peaks scored a game-high 28 points for Guilford Tech (7-6, 1-5).
CVCC trailed by as many as 20 points in the second half, but closed within six points late in the game.
