The Red Hawks have won eight straight, the last a 61-39 victory on Saturday in Fayetteville over Fayetteville Tech.
Sherry Johnson paced CVCC (16-3, 11-1 Region X) with 19 points, while Aniya Taylor and Ivy Eller also reached double figures with 15 and 10 points, respectively.
The Red Hawks quickly built a 16-4 first-quarter lead before eventually leading 36-20 at halftime. Johnson led the Red Hawks with 13 first-half points.
Down 22 points in the fourth quarter with three of its six players having already fouled out, Fayetteville Tech (8-9, 5-9) decided to call the game with seven minutes, 42 seconds left to play.
