The Durham Bulls and Norfolk (Va.) Tides were rained out on Thursday night in Norfolk.
The Triple-A game was reset for July 28 when the Bulls make another road trip to Norfolk.
Norfolk and former Hickory High star Zach Jarrett’s season continues Friday night and through the weekend with games against the Bulls.
Jarrett has been in a slump of late and his batting average has dipped to .259.
The Tides are 23-30 and they are in fourth place in the Triple-A East Southeast Division, 14 games behind the division-leading Bulls (38-17).
Jarrett was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in 2017 and taken in the 28th round.
