MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL: Jarrett walks twice in 4-0 loss at Durham

Zach Jarrett went 0-for-1 and walked twice on Saturday night but Durham beating visiting Norfolk (Va.) 4-0 in Triple-A baseball.

Jarrett started in centerfield and batted seventh in the Norfolk lineup, leaving with a .305 batting average.

The final game of the series in Durham is Sunday at 5:05 p.m.

The Tides, 10-17 and in sixth place in the Southeast Division, are 10 1/2 games back of division-leading Nashville.

Norfolk starts a six-game series in Jacksonville (Fla.) on Tuesday before going home the following week to start a series against Durham.
