Norfolk (Va.) won both games that Zach Jarrett played in over the weekend against visiting Charlotte.
Jarrett went 1-for-4 but struck out three times on Friday night, when the Tides won 4-0.
He did not play on Saturday when Charlotte won 3-1, and was back in the lineup on Sunday in a 5-4 victory (1-for-2, two walks).
Jarrett started in centerfield on Friday, hitting seventh in the order, ans started Sunday in centerfield and batted ninth.
He is hitting .238 this season with eight home runs and 32 RBIs.
After taking Monday off, the Tides play a six-game home series against Durham.
Jarrett is a former Hickory High and Charlotte star in college.
The Tides are 43-64 and in sixth place in the Triple-A East Southeast Division, 25 games back of Durham.
Jarrett has been in Triple-A since a promotion from Double-A Bowie (Md.) on May 19, and he has twice been assigned to the Baltimore Orioles during his career (March 2019 and February 2020).
He was drafted by the Orioles in 2017 and taken in the 28th round.
