The final game of the series between Norfolk (Va.) and host Jacksonville (Fla.) on Sunday was rained out and reset for Aug. 4.

On Saturday night, Zach Jarrett hit his third home run of the season — and 30th of his pro career — as Jacksonville won 8-7 before a crowd of 7,570.

Jarrett started in right field and batted sixth in the order, going 1-for-4. His home run, a solo shot, came in the fifth inning.

He is hitting .301 with three home runs and 14 RBIs.

After taking Monday off, the Tides start a six-game home series against Durham on Tuesday.

Jarrett and the Tides will play a six-game series in Charlotte, beginning on June 29 and continuing through July 4.
