The Charlotte Knights shut out Norfolk (Va.) 4-0 on Friday night in Charlotte, and Zach Jarrett went hitless for the Tides.
Jarrett started in centerfield and batted third for Norfolk, striking out twice as his batting average dipped to .282.
Game 5 of a six-game series in Charlotte is Saturday at 7:04 p.m., and the series finale on Sunday starts at 6:05 p.m.
Jarrett is a career .267 hitter in the minor leagues for the Baltimore Orioles, hitting 33 home runs and driving in 147 runs in 337 pro games.
Norfolk is 21-28 and in fifth place in the Triple-A East Southern Division, 12 games back of division-leading Durham.
Charlotte is 21-29 and in sixth place, 12 1/2 games behind Durham.

Jarrett was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in 2017 after starring in college at Charlotte. The O’s picked him in the 28th round.
