The South Fork 2A revised its varsity volleyball schedule on Monday, setting up new dates for matches involving Bandys and Maiden after those teams were sidelined by COVID-19.

Maiden postponed three matches, then Bandys followed with a quarantine that forced rescheduling three matches.

South Fork 2A Administrator Butch Parker e-mailed schedule changes involving Maiden and included details from Bandys athletic director Brandon Harbinson on schedule changes he worked out with opponents.

Changes at Maiden included trading home dates for some matches and also having the varsity play a 4:30 p.m. and the junior varsity to follow on Dec. 14, at home against East Lincoln in a match originally scheduled Tuesday at East Lincoln.

The South Fork starts varsity matches at approximately 6 p.m., with JVs at 4:30 p.m. Gyms are cleared and cleaned before a limited amount of fans (by state guidlines it’s 25, all from home team) are allowed in with COVID-19 protocols (masks, social distancing enforced).

All matches are livestreamed (cost $10 per device) — to view a particular match, open the revised schedule below for the league’s link and click on the home team’s emblem to complete your transaction.
