ALL-SOUTH FORK 2A BASEBALL: North Lincoln leads with 5 selections, Offensive Player of Year

North Lincoln High, which reached the West 2A best-of-3 title series after winning a regular season and conference tournament title in the South Fork 2A, leads the all-conference baseball team with five selections.

Tyler McPeak of the Knights (25-4) was voted Offensive Player of the Year while Defensive Player of the Year went to T.J. Rasar of Bandys and Frank Porter of Bandys won Coach of the Year after guiding the Trojans to a 20-5 record and a second-place league finish.

In addition to McPeak, the Knights had All-South Fork 2A picks in Ty Lilly, Nick Solomita, David Borgues and Jake Soorus.

Bandys had four all-league picks – Rasar, Andrew Patrick, Mac Beam and Travis Russell – and Lincolnton also had four.

All-conference teams and awards are voted on by conference head coaches.
