HAYDEN DEAL (Class A Rome, Ga.)
Former Bandys High star Hayden Deal is a relief pitcher for the Braves, who fell 4-0 on Saturday night on the road to the Hagerstown (Md.) Suns.
Deal made his first appearance since April 17 on Saturday, relieving starter Huascar Ynoa and going 1 1/3 innings. Deal gave up one hit, no runs, walked one and struck out one.
He has pitched 6 1/3 innings and in three games this season with an ERA of 2.84 with one walk and seven strikeouts. He’s allowed five hits.

HUNTER HARVEY (Class AA Bowie, Md.)
Former Bandys High star Hunter Harvey made his third – and longest start – in Bowie’s 2-1 loss at Akron on Friday night. He did not pitch Saturday in Bowie’s 11-3 loss at Akron.
On Friday, Harvey left after four innings after allowing two hits, no runs, one walk and striking out six. He faced 14 batters and threw 63 pitches (40 for strikes).
Harvey is 0-0 with an ERA of 1.08, has given up six hits, one run (earned) with three walks and eight strikeouts.
If he starts every fifth Baysox game, his next scheduled go would come Tuesday at 6:05 p.m. at Erie.

ZACH JARRETT (Class A Delmarva, Md.)
Zach Jarrett is a former Hickory High and Charlotte star who starts in the outfield for the Shorebirds.
On Saturday night, Jarrett batted third in Delmarva’s lineup in a 4-2 victory at Hickory and went 2-for-5 with a double. He started in left field.
Jarrett is hitting .347 in 20 games with seven home runs and 14 RBIs, and he’s hitting .359 in his last 10 games with three home runs and five RBIs. He is fourth in batting average among South Atlantic League hitters, where Juan Soto of Hagerstown (Md.) leads at .373.
