Harvey was a first round pick by Baltimore in 2013 after a standout career at Bandys High.

Last appearance: Tuesday night, picking up his first career save by pitching three hitless innings in Bowie’s 7-0 victory at home over Hartford (Conn.). in 87-degree weather before 2,153.

He relieved Zac Lowther in the seventh inning, gave up no runs, walked none and struck out five.

Harvey threw strikes on 26 of his 34 pitches and faced nine batters.

It was his third relief appearance since being moved to the Bowie bullpen and his first since June 20. In his last two appearances, he has pitched six innings, allowing one hit, no runs, walking one and striking out seven.

Current stats: 2-5, 5.19 ERA, 14 appearances with 11 starts, 59 innings pitched, six hit batters, 21 walks, 61 strikeouts.

HAYDEN DEAL

(Class A Advanced Florida Fire Frogs)

Deal is a left-hander who played at Bandys High and Presbyterian College.

Last appearance: Last Wednesday as starter in 5-1 home loss against St. Lucie (Fla.).

He pitched 5 2/3 innings, allowing 10 hits, three runs (all earned), walked one and struck out six in his first second-half of the season start.

Deal threw 58 of his 85 pitches for strikes and faced 25 batters but fell to 3-5 with the loss.

Current stats: 3-5, 2.11 ERA, 13 starts, 72 2/3 innings pitched, one hit batter, 17 walks, 63 strikeouts.

Next scheduled start: Wednesday, Palm Beach (Fla.) at Frogs, 6 p.m.

Jarrett is a former star at Hickory High and at Charlotte who is back with the Keys after playing about a month at Class AA Bowie (Md.).

Tuesday: Batted third and started in right field, going 3-for-5 and scoring twice in a 13-6 loss at Lynchburg (Va.).

Monday: Batted third and started in right field, going 0-for-5 and scoring a run in an 11-5 loss at Lynchburg (Va.)

Current stats: .267, five home runs, 24 RBIs.

Last 10 games: .359, one home run, six RBIs.
