LENOIR – St. Stephens High added to its lead in Northwestern 3A-4A boys’ golf on Tuesday by winning a conference match at Cedar Rock Country Club with a team round of 306.
The league’s final regular season match is Wednesday at Boone Golf Club.
The Indians have a season team total of 1,916 and they’re 81 strokes ahead of Hickory (1,997) heading into the final league match.
Ben Nichols of Hickory and Dawson Walker of Hibriten shared medalist at Cedar Rock with 1-over par 73s.
