HICKORY — The Crawdads collected a rain-shortened South Atlantic League (SAL) baseball victory at L.P. Frans Stadium on Friday night, clipping Charleston (S.C.) 2-1 in six innings.
The victory, which came in a game that also had a 40-minute rain delay, left the Crawdads 13-21 as they head into the first game of a four-game series at Frans against Greensboro on Saturday at 6 p.m. Game 2 of that series is Sunday at 3 p.m.
