MEN’S COLLEGE LACROSSE: Bears’ Dickinson, Lett selected first-team All-America

PERRY, N.Y. – Lenoir-Rhyne University has a trio of All-American men’s lacrosse players after selections by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA).

The USILA/Nike first-team NCAA Division II teams includes sophomore midfielder Eric Dickinson and senior long stick middle Collin Lett of the Bears, and senior midfielder Ben Corrigan made the second team.

Dickinson and Lett are in-state products – from Charlotte and Greensboro, respectively – and Corrigan is from Alpharetta,Ga.

Dickinson made the All-South Atlantic Conference (SAC) first team for the second straight year after finishing with 40 goals, 16 assists and 56 total points while Lett was SAC Player of the

Year. Lett – who finished with seven goals, five assists, 12 total points and 77 ground balls – also won the Specialty Player Award for Long Stick Middle.  He’s an All-American for the second straight year.

Corrigan led the Bears in assists with 36 and finished second in goals scored (45) and total points (81).  A three-time all-league honoree (2016-18), he had six goals and eight assists in the postseason.

LRU junior midfielder Joe Buduo of Shrewsbury, Mass.), was honorable mention after a record-breaking season. He school single-season records for goals (a conference-high 62 goals) and total points with 91.

The Bears went 17-3, were 8-0 in the SAC to win a regular season title, and reached the NCAA Division II semifinals.
