ANDERSON, S.C. – Lenoir-Rhyne University’s first conference women’s volleyball, scheduled Tuesday at Anderson, S.C., will not be played.
LRU athletic officials announced Monday the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) match is postponed with no new playing date yet determined.
Conditions caused by Hurricane Irma prompted the decision not to play.
LRU (3-2) will now open SAC play at home on Friday night, facing Tusculum (2-3, 0-1) at 7 p.m. in Hickory.
