ROCK HILL, S.C. – Lenoir-Rhyne University has an All-South Atlantic Conference first-team doubles team in men’s tennis.
In selections released on Wednesday, conference coaches voted the Bears’ Shane O’Dea and Hamed Gandouz to the first team. They went 7-2 overall and 5-1 in the conference.
O’Dea is a junior from Dublin, Ireland and Gandouz is a junior from Hammam Souse, Tunisia.
Two LRU players earned honorable mention in singles, Gandouz and Tales Miranda, from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The Bears finished 13-9 overall and had their season ended with a 5-0 loss to Wingate in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament.
