MORGANTON – Lenoir-Rhyne University’s men had two golfers share 10th and surged to finish third in the Donald Ross Intercollegiate tournament that finished Tuesday at the Mimosa Hills Golf & Country Club.
Junior Brad Robinson of New Castle, United Kingdom and Jackson Bailey of Matthews each finished at 5-over par 215 to tie for 10th place.
Evan Gfeller of North Greenville (S.C.) was the individual winner, firing a 3-under par 207 over two rounds.
Newberry (S.C.), with three of the top four individual scores, won the team title a 1-under par 839. The Bears were third, also behind Belmont Abbey, at 32-over par 872.
