MONROE – With two golfers tied for fourth in the individual standings, Lenoir-Rhyne University’s men grabbed the lead Sunday after two rounds of the J. Ralph Hargett Memorial Intercollegiate.
The Bears shot 4-under par 572 at the Monroe Country Club, sparked by 2-under par 142s by junior Brad Robinson and Carlos Lasso de la Vega Jessen.
Wingate’s Jarett Stowe is the individual leader at 5-under par 137.
LRU leads Belmont Abbey by eight strokes heading into the third and final round on Monday on a par-762, 6,725-yard course.
