HICKORY – Rain on Friday altered the athletic schedule for Lenoir-Rhyne University’s teams.
LRU’s softball team did not play its originally scheduled game against Georgia College at Young Harris and reset the game for 3 p.m. on Saturday with a game against Young Harris to follow at 5 p.m.
The Bears were scheduled to meet Anderson (S.C.) in a South Atlantic Conference (SAC) baseball game in Hickory but it was rained out. The teams play a doubleheader on Saturday with a 1 p.m. start and have a third game in the series on Sunday.
