BALTIMORE – Hunter Harvey hasn’t pitched for the Baltimore Orioles since Sept. 2 but says he is fine – just some normal soreness that goes with pitching – and he’s ready to close the major league baseball season strong.
Harvey, a former Bandys High star who was a first-round draft pick by Baltimore in 2013, has experienced some bicep soreness and has been given a few more days of rest.
He said he figures he will pitch at least another eight innings before the season closes.
Baltimore is closing a three-game home series against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday night.
