A shout out to our loyal readers, to our website designer Chad Austin, and to the local advertisers who have been with us from our launch in April of 2017 – Dwyane Wilson Insurance and Financial Service, based in Maiden, and Burke Mortuary, which provides service in multiple locations in Catawba County.

We’re also thanking all of the high schools in the South Fork 2A, Northwestern Foothills 2A and Northwestern 3A-4A – the primary focus of our coverage and attention – for welcoming our new website with open arms and for providing game information that helps us provide readers with the most focused site – print or on line – for fans who enjoy following the leagues (be on the lookout in those schools soon for our most recent poster/flyers).
We are dedicating our efforts in 2018 to the memory of my next oldest brother, David, who was tragically killed in an accident on Dec. 5 that involved an 18-wheeler. Not a day goes by or a story written that you’re not on my mind… RIP, bro.
