TAYLORSVILLE – Hickory and Watauga each have two players left and Watauga has two doubles teams left after two rounds of the Northwestern 3A-4A’s high school girls’ tennis tournament for the league’s 3A teams.
In singles, Destyne Wimbush and Dawson Clifford of Hickory advanced by winning twice on Tuesday and Lucy Gray and Magali Turner of Watauga also won twice to advance.
The tournament continues on Wednesday at Alexander Central High.
