BURLINGTON — Maiden High, led by MVP Zoe Huffman at No. 1 singles, beat Durham School of the Arts for a state 2A dual-team tennis championship on Saturday.
The Blue Devils (19-3), who won the South Fork 2A title, won 5-1 at the Burlington Tennis Center to complete their season with their first state dual-team tennis championship.
Huffman won at No. 1 singles 6-0, 6-0. She also won the state individual 2A singles title for the third time this season and played on a state championship doubles team during her prep career.
