HIGH SCHOOL SCHEDULE: Friday’s varsity events

HIGH SCHOOL SPRING SPORTS SCHEDULE

TO REPORT RESULTS
Head coaches are asked to report results from their events as soon as possible after the event is completed and the day of the event by emailing chobbs001@att.net and also hobbsdailyreport@gmail.com.
Generally, the home team sends the information but we’ll accept game reports from either school.
We’ll be updating and posting results each night and producing a roundup of details from each day’s sporting events in baseball, softball, girls soccer, girls lacrosse, boys lacrosse, track and field and golf and posting summaries from boys tennis. Information should include first and last names of all players listed.
Baseball and softball: Score by innings, final scores, total hits by both teams, total errors by both teams, winning and losing pitchers, leading hitters, highlights.
Girls soccer, both lacrosses: Final score, names of those who scored goals or had assists, goalkeepers’ statistics, highlights, team records.
Boys tennis: Complete summary, indicating first through six singles and all doubles, i.e. Player A (school) d. Player B (school), 6-0; 6-0, and team records.
Boys golf: Final team scores, top 10 with scores, current league team and individual standings (if available).
Track and field: Team scores, top 10 runners with times.

High school varsity spring sports events for Friday involving teams from the Catawba Valley 2A Athletic, Western Foothills 3A, Northwestern 3A-4A plus Draughn and Patton.

The schedule, with game times (if available), are compiled by HobbsDailyReport.com from individual schedules provided by the schools per a request for those schedules.

Games or matches that are postponed or rescheduled or games or matches where schools traded home playing dates after the schedules were released may not be included (if changes not sent to HobbsDailyReport.com).

For the most up-to-date information about any event, contact the athletic department of the home school. Each school or school system sets its own guidelines re admission and COVID concerns but having a mask available is probably a good idea.

If any changes or corrections are needed to this post, please send them to chobbs001@att.net.

HobbsDailyReport.com will post a weekly schedule of events and also a daily schedule by the morning of a playing date. The most current list will be the one posted on the morning of a playing date.
