Notes: Bandys has won six of its last seven games … The Trojans are 5-1 on the road this season … The Wolves’ only win this season is over Highland Tech … Lincolnton, 8-35 against Bandys since 1970-71, had beaten the Trojans four times in the last five meetings at Lincolnton … A win on Friday at East Lincoln would give Bandys at least 10 wins in 45 of the last 49 years.

Notes: The Cougars shot 29.8 percent and the Indians shot 28.3 … Rhodes had 11 rebounds for the Indians and Lanie Hammer led the Cougars with 10, eight off the defensive boards… Alexander Central went 4 for 21 from 3-point range … St. Stephens had 29 turnovers that the Cougars turned into 19 points … Hammer and Hayes each had six assists for Alexander Central and Madeleine Jenkins blocked six shots and added four steals… The Cougars shot 33 free throws, making 17, and Hayes made seven of her 11 attempts … Rhodes was 7 of 10 at the free-throw line for St. Stephens, which had 19 attempts … The Indians have lost nine straight games … The Cougars have won four straight games and seven of their last eight… Alexander Central went 2-23 last season and 6-43 over the previous two.
