Notes: South Caldwell ended a five-game losing streak and extended Alexander Central’s skid to three games and the Cougars have now lost 13 of their last 14 games … South Caldwell shot 45.8 percent to Alexander Central’s 28.6 … Nikki Hagy had 11 rebounds as the Cougars won the boards by nine, with Starnes’ eight leading the Spartans … Alexander Central went nine of 12 at the free throw line to South Caldwell’s four of six … The Spartans made nine 3-pointers, four by Starnes … Starnes added five assists and three steals for South Caldwell … Miller had half of the Cougars’ 10 assists… Starnes converted seven of her 16 field goal attempts.
