CLAREMONT – Maiden High continued to dominate Bunker Hill, rolling to its 28th straight varsity football win over the host Bears on Monday night behind Kentrell Williams and Keygan Mayfield.

Williams ran for three scores and Mayfield threw for two as the Blue Devils (3-0) also ran their week streak in games played at Bunker Hill to 15 in a row.

On Monday night, Williams had scoring runs of 55, 44 and 3 yards and Mayfield threw scoring of passes of 62 and 42 yards to lead Maiden, now 32-5 against Bunker Hill since 1980 (18-1 at Bunker Hill).

Maiden plays its next game at home on Friday night at 7:30 p.m., facing St. Stephens. The following week, the Blue Devils are idle and will prepare for their first South Fork 2A game on Sept. 22 at home against Bandys.
