Notes: James won tournament MVP and Young and Thurman were named all-tournament … Hickory added the conference tournament title to its regular-season title … The Red Tornadoes have won 11 games in a row since a 59-58 loss to Winston-Salem Reynolds … Hickory and McDowell split in the regular season with the Titans handing the Red Tornadoes their only league loss (74-65 at McDowell) and HHS winning 79-44 in Hickory.
