Notes: Hickory shot 41.3 percent to Maiden’s 37.0 … Maiden won the boards 35-30 with Stinson pulling in 11 while Amos’ seven led Hickory … Jaylin Harper had six of the Red Tornadoes’ 16 assists and McDaniel had five of the Blue Devils’ 14… The game had only 14 turnovers, six by Hickory … Each team hit eight 3-pointers – Hickory took 21 with Amos going 3-for-4 and Maiden took 21 with Stinson making six of a dozen … Amos hit six of the eight field goals he attempted while Stinson made seven of 13 for Maiden … The Blue Devils missed 10 of 21 free throws (McDaniel went 5-for-12) and the Red Tornadoes were nine of 14 … Hickory won on points in the paint 22-16 and Maiden had a 10-3 edge in points via turnovers.

Notes: The Bears outscored the Tigers 40-24 in the paint and 69 of the game’s points were scored by players off the bench (37-32 Bears) … Bunker Hill shot 52.9 percent, including 57.7 in the second half, and Foard shot 33.9 … The Bears won the boards 50-30 with Thaxton Isenhour and Carson Sigmon each grabbing eight while Will Frye and Mateo Pena each had five for the Tigers … There were 68 free throws taken – Foard went 13 of 29 with Peyton Hemphill making five of his six and Bunker Hill was 17 of 39 … Nash Whitener made three 3-pointers for the Tigers (six of 21) … Every player who got at least five minutes of playing time scored for Bunker Hill, 13 different players.
