MORGANTON – Fans who love following girls’ high school basketball have another full-day opportunity ahead to watch teams in the preseason.
The 14th annual Super Saturday – with scrimmages starting as early as 8:30 a.m. and as late as 5:40 p.m. — is scheduled on Saturday at Freedom High.
The battles will be in two gyms at Freedom and at the Table Rock Middle School gym.
The event is coordinated by Amber Reddick and the games on the Freedom campus are at the school’s main and auxiliary gyms.
Admission is $5 and that will allow fans to see any games at any location throughout the day. Concessions will be available at both locations as well.
There are several games – noted below in the schedule – that will have a school playing one half of the scrimmage and another school playing the other half, Reddick said.
